I designed this functional connecting pin to help me make objects larger than the print bed in pieces then assemble them afterwards to complete the part.

This pin contains ridges, and the opposite part has them in the opposite direction to create a strong frictional connection.

I made a cut down the middle of the pin - allowing it to bend slightly to help when fitting it into the connecting hole.

This fixing is intended to make a permanent connection between parts - so it will not be able to be separated once the parts are attached.

This is a simple, useful, mechanical fitting intended for 3D printing - made to help you with making large objects without resorting to glue or other methods to bond parts together.

The parts can be scaled to be used in a wide range of objects.

The files have been provided in STl, OBJ and STEP file formats to allow them to be opened them in as many different CAD software’s as possible. 

You can edit these parts to fit in with your design when creating a product, or sometimes it is just useful to be able to see how someone else has done it to help create your own.

These parts will print completely support free and require no cleaning up after the print has finished.
