Description
Pokemon chess set I made for a friends birthday.
Printed in light Woodfill PLA, sanded, stained and sprayed with a clear coat.
Every piece is designed to be printed in 2 parts, the Pokeball base and the Pokemon itself.
The base can be filled with nuts (M8 at 100% size, M6 at 75%) to make the pieces more bottom heavy.
To better differentiate the pieces they have different base shapes:
-Pawn = round
-King & Queen = pentagon
-Bishop = hexagon
-Knight = heptagon
-Rook = octagon

Just wanted to share the work I have been doing the last week. Printed this awesome chess at my work, using my HP MJF industrial printer just so I dont have to think about support etc. Have done some sanding and paintjob with a high gloss black and white paint. The result turned out pretty good I think. This chess would cost something around 2000$
