There were three types of engines used in aircraft in the 1910s over 100 years ago.
(A) Inline engine, Water cooled (B) Radial engine, Rotary (C) Radial engine, Water cooled (new)
The (A) and (B) models have already been manufactured, and this is the type (C) model.
I was convinced that this unique type of engine was created by the manufacturer of the water pump under the integrated manufacturing of the airframe, engine and water cooling system. Moreover, knowing that more than 3000 aircraft have been produced all over the world, I think it was the result of working systematically.
The internal parts of the engine (crankshaft, case, cam, etc.) were made to be similar to the typical "Air-cooled Radial engine." The radially arranged cylinders are the “water jacket type”, and the body and head have water inlet and outlet ports. The flow of water in the engine is as shown on the figure titled "Radial Water-Cooled Engine Water Flow".
With this method, the temperature of the water supplied to each cylinder is not constant. Therefore, it seems that a radial type shutter was necessary to equalize the temperature of the cylinder and cool it with a radiator, and a donut type exhaust collecting duct was necessary to install them.
I guess it was difficult to adjust the shutter vane angle.
B. Assembly Manual (PDF format, total 34 pages)
The detail assembly manual including "Parts-List", "After printing treatment" and "Assembly procedure" are prepared based on "Standard Skill (Filing, Drilling, Tapping and painting)".
In order to complete this model, patience that does not give up is necessary besides skill.

Micro screws M1.4x3.5L & M1.4x6L - Direct screw-in to 1 mm dia hole (No nut)
But if you have the M1.4 Tap, it will be very useful.

- Nuts - M2, M2 Self-Locking Nut
- Rod - φ2 Brass or Bronze
- ABS Pipe - φ5 or 3D print
- Rubber Tube - φ5, 6 ID
D. STL file
Total STL files are 75 items including the stand and tools.
“ws” of last 2 digits of file name means “With Support” special designed.
E. Total Net Print Time: Approx. 120 HR
- (Estimated as case of PLA, 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm Layer Height, 40% infill and No raft and support)
Note: When at actual print, each parameter may be adjusted by your experience.
F. Printing settings
Raft, Support, Layer Height, Infill: Depending on your experience.
My models were printed by "idbox" using with 0.4 nozzle, 1.75 PLA.
