I designed this box in Fusion360 as a personal design challenge and an variant of my Round Hexagon Box. I was inspired by Clockspring3D but felt like I could add some complexity and make the design more interesting. This box is comprised of 6 parts, the Knob, Lid Trim, Lid, Inner Box, Shroud Trim and Base. It uses one M4 x 8mm socket head cap screw to attach the knob to the lid and four more of the same screw to hold the inner box to the base. Make sure you can control your stringing on the trim elements!
The holes are sized so you do not need to tap them to accept the M4 bolts.
I printed this on my Prusa i3Mk3S in PLA at .2mm layer height with 15% gyroid infill. It doesn't need any support but the hole in the lid prints a bit cleaner if you support the recessed area where the socket head cap screw goes to attach the knob.
I prefer to print each part individually but you can plate them as you see fit.
