(TASmaker's) Folding Spool Holder (3DPN Design Comp)
This spool holder, created for 3DPN design competition, is designed to self centre and lock in place on a timber (1"x1.5") spool rack. It can be folder up out of the way. The rear hook can be pushed under a resting spool without needing to be removed first.
Must be printed on its side. Can be printed with 0.8mm shell and 10% infill, however a thicker shell and higher infill will only make this model stronger. Hinge "seal" is cracked open by carefully closing the hinge. May require a higher bed temperature (or higher ambient temperature, eg an enclosure) to prevent warping. However, a warped model will still be functional.
