This is a 3d-printedboombox that uses a Kitronic deluxe stereo amplifier kit! My idea was to create the look of an old-skool boom-box, the classc modular version that Bart Simpson would have on his shoulder, kicking out the jams. The problem with a lot of smaller amplifer setups is that they are either all-together, with no way to change each speaker position, or they have loose speakers that have to be carried separately. When I was a kid I had a boom box that had DETACHABLE speakers, so I could either keep it all together and carry my box by the handle, or I could pop the individual speakers off and position them however I wanted. I used this same design idea with the MyMiniBoomBox.
I modeled the parts to print support-free, and no glue is needed to assemble the box. The Kitronic deluxe stereo amplifier kit used DOES NEED to be an unassembled kit, otherwise a pre-assembled kit will need the speaker wires cut and re-spliced (very simple to do) so they can be threaded between the main body and each side speaker housing.
