"As resilient as a tank, as old as a mountain, void navigators oversee massive city-like ships and constantly coordinate thousands of systems with their greatly enhanced cognitive abilities. Their bodies far beyond the bounds of human frailty, they rely completely on their walking tombs to keep their minds alive. Though they may spend centuries without leaving their ships it is not unheard of that a navigator will venture out onto planets and asteroids for purposes they cannot convey to unaugmented mortals. They are not built for combat, but are very capable of defending themselves with powerful claws and electric discharge when absolutely necessary."
