I wanted a nice whiteboard hanger, not just two screws in the wall. This is what I came up with:

A rail that screws in a wooden 1"x1"
An M10 "bolt" that screws in a special nut that is itself screwed to the wall
Wooden spacers at the top are made from a 3/4" thick piece of scrap wood I had lying around with a 10mm hole to let the bolt through
Yes, you do need wood (and a saw and a drill ... an preferably some sand paper) this support is meant to be nice and warm, not just 2 screws in the wall and not just some plastic.

The rail is in 250mm segments (should print on most printer, might need to print it diagonally on smaller beds). You'll decide on the quantity to print based on the length you need. You'll probably want at least one male and one female (there are some rounded indentations in the design to help with alignement).

Clearance on the bolt and nut part is about 0.15mm (actually, 0.2 on the bolt and 0.1 on the nut).

No overhangs other than a few 45deg chamfers. Be carefull on the rails, they can warp (and past 1mm warping you won't be able to use it properly). If they warp to much, you may try a raft (since the under side will be against the wood, nobody will see it :-) ).

Je voulais un support pour mon tableau blanc qui soit un peut plus personnalise que juste deux vis dans le mur. Voila le resultat:

Un rail a fixer sur un tasseau de bois (j'avais du 27x27mm qui trainait)
Un "boulon" M10 qui se visse dans un ecrou un peu special fixe au mur
Les cales de bois en haut sont faites avec une chute de sapin de 18mm que j'avais dans un coin, il y a un trou de 10mm pour laisser passer le "boulon"
Alors oui, il faut un peu de bois en plus des impression 3D (et du coup aussi une scie, une perceuse, des vis, du papier de verre ...). Ce support a ete concu parce que je voulais quelque chose de plus joli et chaleureux que juste deux vis dans le mur ou qu'un bete morceau de plastique.

Le rail est en segments de 250mm (normalement ca passe sur la plupart des imprimantes, peut etre en diagonal). Vous imprimez la quantite de rails en fonction de la taille de votre tableau. Il vous faudra au moins un male et un femelle (il y a des petites indentation arrondies aux extremites pour aider a l'alignement).

Il y a environ 0.15mm de marge entre le boulon et l'ecrou (en fait, 0.2mm sur le boulon et 0.1 sur l'ecrou).

Aucun surplomb autre que quelques chamfreins a 45deg. Attention aux rails, ils ont tendance a se tordre (au dela de 1mm de soulevement sur les cotes ils seront inutilisables). Si ca warp trop, utilisez un raft, de toutes facon on verra jamais la face du dessous :-).

Mounting / Montage
Step 1 - 3d printed parts
EN: Check that the rails are mating correctly at the ends (and might be a good time to dry fit to see if you have enough !)
FR: Verifiez que les rails s'alignent correctement (c'est peut etre aussi le moment de verifier en les alignant que vous en avez assez !)
EN: Check that the nuts and bolts can be screwed together correctly.
FR: Verifiez que les boulons et ecrous se vissent ensemble correctement.
Step 2 - the wood
EN: Cut a length of wood for the rails (you'll need about 10" per rail segment)
FR: Coupez votre tasseau pour les rails (il vous faudra environ 25cm par segment de rail)
EN: Cut and drill a 10mm hole for the top 2 pieces (I think you can get away with a half inch drill bit if you don't have a 10mm)
FR: coupez et percer a 10mm les petites cales du haut
EN: sand/finish if wanted
FR: poncez/vernis/peinture si envie
Step 3 - the rail
EN: The rail should be mounted before screwing to the wall (makes things easier). Use appropriate screws, and pre-drill to avoid splitting the wood. Don't overtighten, this is plastic and it will never see any form of heavy constraints anyway.

FR: Le rail devrait etre monte avant de visser au mur (c'est plus simple comme ca!). Utilisez des vis appropriees, et pre-percez pour eviter d'eclater le bois. Ne pas trop serrer, ca reste du plastique, de plus il n'y aura jamais de contraintes d'appliquees dessus !

Step 4 - the wall
EN: Screw the wood piece with the rail to the wall, make sure it's levelled and neither to high or too low (mine is about 1.25m from the floor, a bit less than 4 feet). I'd say use wall anchors if needed ... but I'm sure you know what you are doing :-)

FR: Vissez le tasseau au mur, assurez vous qu'il est de niveau, ni trop haut ni trop bas (le mien est a environ 1m25 du sol). Je vous dirais bien d'utiliser des chevilles et tout ... mais bon je suis sur que vous savez ce que vous faites :-).

Step 5 - the top parts
EN: Once again, the top parts' height depends on you whiteboard's dimensions. On mine, I made it so the big bolt does not overlap with the board itself. In the mean time, the board is hiding the screws.

FR: Encore une fois, la hauteur depend des dimensions de votre tableau. Pour le mien, j'ai fait en sorte que les boulons ne couvrent pas le tableau, par contre le tableau cache les vis.
