Description
Had to share this awesome model, printed in full size. I cut it into about 10 pieces with netfabb so I could print it on my Cocoon Create. The large scale really brings out the great details. A lot of sanding and spray putty, then I sprayed with a variety of colours, yellow, scarlet, copper, terracotta etc. The black area is simple matte black spray paint followed by black spray plasti-dip. I wasn't all that happy with the yellow until I scuffed the helmet up a bit and weathered it with a mix of very very watered down blacks, browns and reds, but mainly black. painted it on randomly but also making sure to hit the scuffs and dents, wiped it off with a rag and finally it really popped! Has that battle-worn look. Big thanks to Aaron Powell for making this awesome model!
