Memory Match Up Tiles
These tiles were designed to be used in conjunction with the Mind Trekker's Lesson Plan found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gwGCUa9cQ03spplhVBERkhcgNilbR2AteFYL2AT0Qdk/edit
This demo is designed to teach kids about how memories are formed. This game specifically works with short-term memory. The game itself is simple, two tiles are flipped over if they match you get to keep them, if they don't flip them back over and try again until you match all the tiles. The matching game is normally played through a website linked through the lesson plan, however with these tiles a laptop is not needed to run the demo and is a bit easier to reset.
The tiles are pretty cheap to print as they are designed to be no bigger than a playing card. One side has the organization logo for decoration, the other side has the numbers 1-8 cut into them. The numbers can be filled with differnt colored paints so that they stand out more. Two of each tile needs to be printed for a total of 16.
