These marble rollers are meant to be used as a learning demonstration for acceleration due to gravity. There are 4 individual tracks, each with a specific profile.
20 degrees linear track, 30 degrees linear track, 30 degrees constantly curving, and 60 degrees constantly curving.
The tracks are each between 5 to 10 grams. Meaning printing cost is approximately 10 to 25 cents per track.
These rollers take about 25-40 minutes to print if you lay both halves down on the print bed and print simultaneously. Keep the center of the track on the print bed. No support structure is needed. You will need glue to combine the halves together after printing.
If you prefer, you can print the parts as a whole and use support structure, though you will use more material and the print will take more time.
If you don't have good print adhesion, you may get a bit of warp on the longer tracks especially.
I printed on the Creality Ender 3 with the following settings. Print quality was good.
50mm/s, 25% infill, wall thickness of 2, and layer height of 0.3mm.
