[W.I.P.] Hogsmeade - Goathland station OO gauge (1:76) - Harry Potter train station
First of all :This is a work in progress!..
Update 3 (0.4)
Most of all roof have been updated, i've lost track of the fact that we are 3d printing them, so now they are solid blocks and not separated pieces like a pastic-kit, some walls have been updated as well to suit this new roof design, as always check the MEGA link to get older or this new version in organized folders. https://mega.nz/folder/8zwEwCLa#unPZPEHsQu0puKcLRDHKXQ
Update 2 (0.3):
I added to windows and door a .25mm tolerance as it was needed on my not well setted up printer, if you need original files with 0 tolerance please check the MEGA link, the 6 plank wagon storage is there but the roof needs a bit of a rethink to look nice.
Also for a bit easier comprehension i added pictures with numbers for corresponding windows and doors files, i'll do that to the whole thing in later times.
Original:
Hi everyone,
i've recently purchased the hornby Hogwarts express, and saw the range of resin buildings.
Even if you think of it it's a good price for what you get, it's still not cheap!
So i've got myself to recreate almost the complete station.
As i stated up there, it's still in progress most of the main buildings are done, but there's still some missing, if you've seen the Goathland station that is used in the film there's a few more building, i will only do one more and mayyyybe the signal box. The foot bridge seems a bit too complicated to print on FDM so i might not do it either.
It's not that close to the "prototype" but for me it's close enough.
MMF doesn't let me sort things sooo it's quite messy. so here have this link to get everything sorted https://mega.nz/folder/8zwEwCLa#unPZPEHsQu0puKcLRDHKXQ
also acces to all previous versions if for any reason you need it.
Building part of the experience is like building a kit that was weirdly designed, a bit of trimming might be required (i've build the main building so far and it needed a bit)
Still i hope to see some of you at least try it out!
Foot note: this is design is distributed for free you cannot print and then sell without my written consent.
