3D printing belongs to Additive Manufacturing.
I wanted to create a trophy inspired from this vision : object created by material addition.
By using voronoi structure the design starts from curves (lattice structure at the back of the trophy) which move on to surfaces (left side of the trophy), then surfaces evolve to polysurfaces (front of the trophy).
By rotating the trophy we can see the evolution of the trophy construction.
The lattice structure, and micro features present in the detailed evolution of polysurface, will be perfect when printed in SLS or MJF. This design is made for this technology able to print complex geometries.
The Base of the trophy, made in SLA with clear material, will highlight the main structure.
The lattice of the trophy starts in the base through internal cavities. Each side of the trophy is complete with an extension from the base in perfect harmony with the material evolution.
PS : the SLS part is > 100mo, I tried to upload the CAD file (made with rhino *.3dm). Feel free to contact me to receive the *.stl.

Please Find here after some pictures. My Clear resin is not the better one :-( I'm sure you will have better results. I also have the main part in grey (printed with HP 4200 in PA12) if you want to compare with the black one. Really feel free to contact me if you need anything else (another picture, the original model in Step (I used rhino to model it), etc...) I hope it will help, and I cross finguers !
