Description
Entry for 3D Printing Nerd contest.
Features:
- Short mount for strength
- Center mounted bearings for the smoothest rotation
- Removable, threaded mount for quick and easy changes
- Offset from shelf to prevent hangups
Make sure that the threads do not print with supports. 20% infill should be strong enough but if strength is a concern only the hanger needs to be printed with a higher infill as that is where most of the weight rests.
Required extra hardware:
- 8mm x 150mm threaded rod
- 2 x 8mm nuts (recommend nylon locking nuts)
- 2 x 8mm washers
Though I used 8mm, the tolerences should allow for a 5/16" instead.
