iPhone 7 Plus Phone Case - Campbell's Tomato Soup

I was inspired by Devin Montes at MakeAnything to create my own phone case design with my printer. For some reason Andy Warhol's Campbell's Tomato Soup painting was the first thing that came to mind so I decided to give it a try. It is only 4 colors and I happened to have all of them already so it was pretty convenient and I am pretty happy with how it turned out, although some lines were too thin to print.
Since I am a Mechanical Engineering student, I was able to use Solidworks for the design as well as Illustrator to create the dxf file. And I also used Simplify3D to slice it. Since I don't have a 3D scanner, I followed his other video on the OnePlus 5 phone to design the phone case for my iPhone 7 Plus. Just like Devin, it took me multiple attempts to get the phone case right and then a couple more to end up with the final product.
Devin made it easy for anyone to print his designs since it's all PLA, however, I decided to use a mix of PLA and flexible filaments so I could hug the phone better. This means if you want to try making this yourself with my files, you have to print the artwork in PLA and then the rest of the phone in flexible material, otherwise you won't get your phone around the corners. I know, I'm sorry I made it complicated. If at this point you still can make it and want to try I can try to help with the printing if you leave a comment. The order I printed the colors were Yellow, White, Black, Red, and then the rest of the phone case. I also scaled the phone to 99% which made it a better fit.
*Make sure to follow all of the steps on MakeAnything's YouTube video for setting up the print, for example, don't forget to set retraction vertical lift to 0.80 mm.
Printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle
100% infill and 3 shells at 0.1 mm layer height for the art
50% infill and 2 shells at 0.2 mm layer height for the phone case; I used supports here for the buttons and upper lip of the phone; reference Makers Muse on YouTube if you need help with printing flexible filament
