I was asked to create an ak-630 to put on a rc scalemodel ship. In this specific case it is for a USS Pegasus PHM-1, but it is seen on quite a few other russion vessels.
The turret rotates 360 degrees, and the barrel elevates up to 90 degrees.
Wikipedia: "The AK-630 is a Soviet and Russian fully automatic naval close-in weapon system based on a six-barreled 30 mm rotary cannon. In "630", "6" means 6 barrels and "30" means 30 mm. It is mounted in an enclosed automatic turret."
The design was created a bit too small in Fusion. You should scale all the parts up 340% in your slicer so you will end up with the intended size: a bottom diameter of 40 mm.
I believe the scale of the ship was somewhere between 1:50 and 1:72
It is design to be printed without supports. I printed this with 0.1 mm layer height, and an infill of only 15%
Add a brim to the barrel, for extra stability while printing.
You may need to taper the barrel a bit with a knife, so you can push it into the hole of the barrelmount.
update: increased the width of the barrelmount, for a tighter fit.
