This one's for all my fellow sci-fi geeks, conspiracy theory fans or those who love that 50's retro 'Flying Saucer' vibe!
I originally made these cute little aliens for a friend who is an absolute UFO fanatic, and also to test out a green filament my supplier had just got in. They turned out to be so cute I thought what the hell, I'll put them on sale so everyone can enjoy them. I also always said I'd never make presentation boxes for my earrings because there's just way too many of them. But then my supplier also got in a two-tone pink & yellow PLA filament... and I couldn't resist.
So anyway, now you can also enjoy that UFO life and you can also give them their very own little saucer to live in too. The centre locking band is, in the photos, printed from that very same pink & yellow PLA filament (check out the range from 3DFilaprint, you will NOT be disappointed) so it looks like the old 50s sci-fi movies, with the saucer spaceship and the flashing lights around the edge of the disc.
