Altoids Tin Panfishing Kit
Altoids Tin Panfishing Kit

A small Altoids tin pan fishing reel that requires no extra hardware (except for zip-ties and a stick) to put together. Should be able to catch bluegills and other small fish.
Contains a integrated print in place slide bearing that will let the reel spin smoothly.
There's enough room leftover in the tin to store small items like extra lures, hooks, or a small whistle.
"Panfisher_All_Parts_Prearranged.stl" contains all the parts oriented and arranged correctly.
A optional printable insert with a diagram of the spool is included (last picture). Print it in wallet size and cover it in clear tape for water resistance.
.f3d and .step files are available if you wish to modify it.
Please note that I have not tested this out yet on real fish because it's the middle of winter right now in Michigan. I will update in a few months.
No supports required and the tolerance on the bearing is 0.2mm.
