Finally! A moving King of Red Lions!
The King of Red Lions is a character from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. He is a talking boat whom Link befriends and uses to travel the Great Sea.
And his head was very lively in the game! Half way into this sculpt the decision was made to give his head freedom of movement. Joints were added and the end result is a statue that moves just as he did in the game. Thank you L for convincing me to add the element of movement!

Printed on a CR-10s with a modified extruder. It's a big print so 0.3 might be the ideal layer height for the head. The rest of the pieces are a fairly straight forward print with minimal supports needed. The joint will need fasteners. For this project I used m3 nuts bolts. Note, this print scales up well. has a lifesize replica ever been done?
