So, Captain America (turntable). Bit of a remake of the costume, since while I enjoy doing fan art I do want to add something of my own to it and not just.. well.. completely copy someone else's work. Right? I'm not a Xerox machine.
With Cap I kind of stepped away a liiiittle bit from my mantra of, "make something you really enjoy, and don't just do it for the downloads/hits/ego boost/whatevs", because Captain America hasn't really been a favourite of mine. Still, I looked at my shelf and there's Spider-Man, angry, sad, in pain, and I figured he could use the muscely shoulder of his Avengers buddy Cap to lean on.
So here's Cap!
Hail Hydra.
This is fan art, provided for free, and I fully acknowledge the Captain America likeness is the property of Marvel Entertainment, LLC (The Walt Disney Company).
I printed this on my CR-10S using some PLA (from 3DNet, no affiliation), and the following settings:
Layer height: 0.12mm
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Perimeter: 0.8mm
Speed: 60mm/s (but S3D slows it down mostly)
Top/bottom # layers: 6
Infill: 5% rectilinear
Print time: 23:51 hours (yes, this time I checked!)
I didn't need to use any support, it came out just as you see it in the unpainted photo in the gallery, but if you know your printer is sensitive to overhangs you should at least support the wings on his helmet since mine had a little bit of sag that I filed off with a few strokes.
Good luck!

This is an amazing bust, I do love Captain America though. I haven't really cleaned the print yet, the marks on his face are just contamination. I have had some issues with retraction and blockages which is one of the reasons it isn't as neat as I would have liked.
