The inspiration for my piece is 'fantasy' where I wanted to be able to have a floating wing structure while still enabling it to print. I find a spherical shape to be pleasing and the cat just seemed to fit in with the theme although it may have been a bit extra with the platform. Although I do not have the neccessary equipment to print, I still hope my thoughts can take flight and be printed properly, although I anticipate that the holes on the side may not be sufficient to hold the wings and probably should have been more jagged or have an 'insert and turn' sort of style to more securely fit into place.
