Description
This Italian urn shows the entrance to the underworld, which is indicated by the two Furies standing between the two arched doors with their torches. They are looking over a woman with her child, who is saying goodbye to a priest. Hades and Charun can be seen on the right, a wolf-headed demon at the top.
