Location: Town Creek site (31Mg2-3), Montgomery County, North Carolina.
Notes: North Carolina Archaeological Collection, Research Laboratories of Archaeology, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Illustrated in Town Creek Indian Mound: A Native American Legacy, by Joffre L. Coe, University of North Carolina Press, 1995, Figure 11.2. This specimen was reconstructed from a fragment of the pipe, and the frog effigy is largely conjectural. Model by Steve Davis.
