A V6 mount for the CR10 and Ender series of 3D printers. This is a revision of an earlier design utilising proven CFD developed part cooling airflow to offer optimum results.
This iteration has been repackaged to permit fitment on the Ender 5 series, without compromising the forward Y axis travel (IE it doesn't hit the front rail!).
The mount and the duct uses heat set M3 inserts (x6) to provide a reliable and robust threaded fixing. The remainder of the hardware consists of:
2X M3x10mm socket button head screws to secure the mount to the X carriage.
1X M3x22mm socket cap head screw to secure the mount to the X carriage.
2X M3x20mm socket counter sunk screws to secure the mount clamp to the mount.
1X M3x12mm socket cap head screw + 1X M3 washer to secure the duct to the mount.
2X M3x22mm socket button head screws + 2X M3 washers to secure the 5015 blower to the duct.
Additional M3 hardware will be required to secure the BLTouch to its bracket and the bracket to the mount.
Print parts in the orientation in which they are downloaded. Only the mount requires support from the buildplate only. I'd suggest 4 walls at 0.2mm layers with 15% infill. PETG or ABS would be the preferred filament, but if you are only printing PLA then printing the mount and duct in PLA will be fine.
The underside of the duct should be positioned 1-2mm above the tip of the nozzle.
