Curtain Ring
Curtain Ring

This is a simple curtain ring, its 50mm Inner Diameter. The ring is for smooth curtain poles (like a large doweling rod). I have integrated an eye at 90 degrees to the ring itself for curtain hooks to be slid into, and I have offset the curtain hook eye so that you can print the peice flat on the print bed.
I have tested it on 3 curtains and the offset eye does not affect anything.
Print with PLA and 25% infill and more than strong enough for a curtain hook on a curtain.
I used esun PLA+ White @ 215 degrees and print bed at 60 degrees. I needed to put some support on the bed, but that was for the initial rings in the first couple of layers being put down. Support touching the print bed was small, and if your filament does 60 degrees overhang, then the support is not needed.
You can print with PETG and other fillaments, but you want a nice smooth outer finish so the ring slides well.
