Here, I proudly introduce to you my entry for the Ian Wright Floreon contest! My goal for this project was to create to the best of my abilities a pair of glasses that matched Ian Wright's style and most importantly, ones that look good on him.
I call it "Wright Modulation Two", and the reason being is that I designed it to be modular in the sense that that you can make it whatever color you like. I know Mr. Wright likes his colors, so I thought it important to give him the option to choose whatever color he so pleases.
Aside from being modular, it is also designed to make the lens installation as easy as possible. All you do is insert the lense into the top frame and then follow by sliding in the bottom piece, and that's it!
Another thing that I felt was vitally important for these glasses was to make them as comfortable as possible, so to do that, I used the scan of Mr. Wright to do just that. Even the smallest of curves or bumps can make a pair of glasses uncomfortable, so hopefully, they turn out to be just as comfortable as they are on me for Mr. Wright.
Lastly, for the hinge, I designed it to work exactly for the provided hinge model, so when it comes time to assemble this, you should be able to use a real metal hinge to make this thing awesome.
To attach the temples to the hinges, simply press the end of the hinge into front hole of the temple and glue if needed. If the fit is too tight, either file down the inside of the hole or you can heat up the hinge and press it for an even more secure fit.
I have also included a "combined" version ofthe frame which has the top and bottoms of the frame merged incase you wish to print it as one whole piece.
And that's my glasses design!
