The members of the Woodenhorn clan are in no way weak. In fact they are far stronger than the average races, they have strong fighters and the protection of their shamans and the oracle. However, once every hundred years or so, a special being is born.
This being is far bigger and many times stronger than the rest of the fighters, so from a young age they are trained in the art of war, for they are to become the Sun Protector of the clan.
The Sun Protector is basically the clan’s guardian, he’s the one that makes sure that no harm is done to his people.
Dohnul was always taught to care for his clan, for there is strength in unity, and more so in his case. So he should be the one closer to his people, to be a beacon of hope when battle inevitably comes. For that moment, he's prepared to destroy everything and anything to ensure the safety of the clan.
