Drox Kar'un is a member of the Zah-Qatil alien race, which was discovered when mankind ventured to the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy. He comes from the hot, rocky planet Alharu, where hard work and strength are valued above all else. The leader of his people is always the strongest fighter, proficient with his weapons and fists. Drox' world is one of warring tribes, each fighting to expand their borders and earn glory.
Although Drox was a highly skilled warrior and one of the strongest of his tribe, he had always longed for more than war. His brutal upbringing had also given him a surprising amount of compassion, and this was at odds with his native culture, further adding to his desire to escape.
One fateful day, Captain Swift visited Alharu to sell some dark energy power cells, and Drox knew this was his chance. After an impressive display of strength, Swift welcomed Drox on board where he soon proved himself a valuable crew member. His fighting skills coupled with a hint of empathy made him the ideal person to fill the bruiser role, and he's never been happier.
