Elfdroid Eye Mechanism

This is the eye mechanism for the Elfdroid head. It runs on a single 15kg.cm servo which sits inside the the forehead. In my model I used a SPRINGRC SR311. It's best to test the servo positioning in Arduino IDE first and make sure that the eyes face forwards at their starting position, then glue the central PLA gearshaft to the servo output shaft. I used a dab of gorilla glue to hold it in place. This stops the eyeballs coming loose after repeated movements.
Print the two left and right spur gears at 0.1mm (fine) layer height with 100% infill for strength, since they are part of a moving mechanism. Be gentle when pushing the washers and eyes into place. Too much twisting and the gear axles will snap!
