Description
Only at the second look at the powerful figure of the goat beam turns its dual nature as half-animal, half-man figure: on the back of the tail between the leaf wreath on the front the horns and pointed ears, also an animal resembling the show-up. This sculpture is a later bronze casting, which was built between 1860 and 1880. The very dark, olive black shimmering patina has small abplatzer in some places that even more to emphasize the charm of the sculpture. Otherwise very good, undamaged condition.
