Who does it use?
This little helper is based on an idea of this neat guy who has shown us how to replace the FEP film of your vat without hassle.
If you are a lucky owner of an Anycubic resin printer you can skip this, because they use a second frame for pre-tensioning the FEP film while mounting it.
All others may find it useful and print this version out instead of the cardboard/staples version. The size should fit all standard size vats.
Additional material:
As you can see on the pics, the frame is equipped with neodymium magnets 10x1,6 mm which can be pressed (depending on your printers accuracy) directly into the holes. Otherwise, you can glue them in. Keep in mind that most neodymium magnets demagnetize at higher temperatures if you use hot glue.
How to use:
On the opposite side you can use washers to fit the film, which makes it easy to adjust the film. The film has not to be straight tensioned but has to be fitted with fewer wrinkles as possible.
The final tensioning is made by screwing in the frame in the vat.
Just refer to the video for more details for the replacement.
