Description
The amphora that the young man is carrying on his shoulder served as a spout with the help of a pipe. Fountain statues were found in wealthy houses and villas, as well as in groves, shrines of the nymphs, bathhouses, and theaters. Northern Greek workshop, possibly in Thessaloniki.
