Fragment of a large votive relief. Rocky landscape with a god or hero seated in front of a tree. The Barberini Faun, a masterwork of Greek sculpture and one of the showpieces of the Glyptothek, the "Medusa Rondanini", much admired by Goethe, and the famous "Munich Votive Relief" are united in this round room, which is modelled on the Roman Pantheon.

Displayed at the Antike am Königsplatz in Munich. The museum displays Bavaria's collections of antiquities from Greece, Etruria and Rome. The sculpture collection, on the other hand, is located in the opposite Glyptothek and works created in Bavaria are on display in a separate museum. Ancient Egypt also has its own museum.
