The Abyss is a terrifying place that I hope I will never have to encounter. I have tangled with Demons and Devils in my travels before, but none more do I fear than this butcher. I do not know his true name but some refer to him as Groth The lord of chains. The stories I’ve read about him still haunt me to this day. It states that this creature does not take sides. Demon Lords, Arch Devils, even Gods fear his brutality. Used as an assassin, a torturer, his walls are lined with the bodies and limbs of his victims. What troubles me more is that I believe he may now be in this world, here in the Menagerie. For what purpose, I do not know….yet. -Orson Elwood’s journal
