Description
The simple hairstyle with the fringe of curls falling over the temples, recalls the portrait, known from coins, of Antonia Minor, the daughter of Mark Antony and Octavia, nieve of Augustus and mother of the emperor Claudius, one of the most important women in the empire, whose idealized portraits always depicted her as a long woman, even when she was one no longer.
