Description
This is one of the decorative reliefs on St. George's Hall in Liverpool, created by Sterling Lee. They depict Justice as a woman going through time. This specific relief shows her receiving the kiss of righteousness and the crown of immortality.
Justice is more mature and shown supporting the world, in which the Roman numerals I to X represent the 10 Commandments. Knowledge (on the left) is passing her the rod of knowledge, while raising her veil to show that things previously concealed are now revealed once Justice prevails. Righteousness (on the right) assists Justice in supporting the globe.
