Karros had an unfortunate life, being always on the losing end of the battles for survival. He always tried to do his best to live for another day, until one day, his struggle proved to be beyond his reach.
Moments away from passing from this earth, he was saved by a shadow, which led him to a “Safe” place for all the rats in the sewers: The Rat King’s domains.
Later on he learned that his saviour had been Sawyer, by order of the king, and so he has pledged his life in servitude to his new liege, and just as equally feels grateful to Sawyer for giving him a new chance at life.
He was offered a go on the mutation procedure, he has a newfound strength and is paying for it through servitude to the kingdom.
