This lava lamp tap handle brings a groovy vibe to wherever your drinks are served! Powered by an Adafruit Trinket and a neopixel LED ring, the handle cycles through the colors of the rainbow! Translucent material and tweaks to the infill pattern allow the light to travel through the body to light up the handle! Powered by a 9V battery, all of the electronics fit inside the body of the handle, which screws directly onto the tap with printed threads!

For the body of the lamp, increase the minimum line distance of your infill settings to create larger cavities for light to travel. For best lighting effects, we tweaked the infill pattern in Cura with triange infill at 5% with a minimum line distance of 40mm, making the infill pattern resemble a wheel with spokes or a cross section of a lemon. This created large vertical cavities that allowed light to fill the body. Print vertically if possible.
