Description
This to-scale cast of a lion is a copy of a sculpture housed in the gardens of Fredensborg Palace (Hillerød, Copenhagen), guarding the gates to the building. The sculpture is in high relief, and is part of a pair of sculptures situated on either side of the gates. The copy is now located in the 'Lapidarium of Kings' in Christian IV's Brewhouse.
