I absolutely love how this looks. Where I live we get a lot of natural light, so it bounced really well off of each panel. The shade was printed in vase mode, so it's best suited to an upper shelf. I really want to get some RGB bulbs for this and light up a room.
The cutaway shape for the stem was inspired by this Maker's Muse video (Follow him on MMF and maybe he'll upload something :P). The low poly was generated in F360. This was an absolute blast to make, so expect lots of low poly stuff coming.
Just remember to print the shade with a bunch of bottom layers (at least 6) so it fits well over the base. Also use a couple extra top layers on the base so the top surfaces are clean (mine are not).
No need for any extra adhesion. Just make sure to print the shade in vase mode.
