A simple case for holding four 18650 batteries that opens below the batteries for easy access and has slots for 6mmx2mm neodymium magnets to prevent the case from opening in a bag or pocket.

After trying many cases for 18650 batteries, I realized that with many top-lid designs, it was difficult to take batteries out of the case without tilting the case. With the majority of cases, the simple friction closure made it either too difficult to close the case or too easy for the case to come open (due to printer tolerances).
I wanted to design a case that could easily hold four batteries, was easy to remove batteries without tilting the case, was easy to close and difficult to accidentally open.
It is designed to be fairly easy to print and hard to mess up too bad. My settings were:
- 0.2mm layer height
- 3 shells
- 15% infill
