Recommended print settings with a .4 mm nozzle:
- Layer Hight: .150 ~.160 mm, depending on motors and gearing
- 4 perimeters or shells (1.8 ~ 1.9 mm)
- 12 bottom layers (1.8 ~ 1.9 mm)
- 12 top layers (1.8 ~ 1.9 mm)
- Infill 20 ~ 30%, depending on infill type
Insert the stand in the appropriate slot on top of the base. It should fit in snugly. Push down until the stand's bracket is flush with the top of the base.
Optional - Use an adequate ahdesive such as medium CA, to permently bond the stand to the base.
Note: The slot’s opening is designed with 0.6mm total tolerance, 0.3mm on each side. This should be enough for the stand to fit in snugly. Depending on your printer’s calibration, it is possible that the stand may be too difficult to insert into the base. In such case, try the following suggestions:
Filing the edges of the stand’s bracket slightly to remove any sharp edges, and/or
Re-scale the stand’s thickness in your slicer prior to generating the gCode, i.e., when the stand lays flat on the bed, it is designed to be exactly 10mm high. Re-scaling along the “Z” axis to 9.8mm or even 9.7mm, should allow the stand to fit properly in the base’s slot.
