Selamat Datang di Jakarta
Welcome to Jakarta!
This model was created by 8th grade student codenamed "Silhouette" in Tinkercad! She gave permission to be published in MiniWorld3D's catalog to share with the world.
The National Monument (Indonesian: Monumen Nasional, abbreviated Monas) is a 132 m (433 ft) obelisk in the centre of Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia. It is the national monument of the Republic of Indonesia, built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence.
Construction began in 1961 under the direction of President Sukarno. Monas was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with gold foil (from Wikipedia).
MiniWorld3D is excited to bring this model to life as a homage to all the people of Indonesia. This model was designed from scratch completely in Tinkercad by an 8th grade student, no scans or repurposed models, so it's clean for 3D printing. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!
