Description
I wanted to accomplish 2 things:
- Lower the chair, because the lowest setting with the wheels is still too high for me.
- Use the chair on wooden floors without destroying them.
This model is for an ikea markus chair, but I've uploaded a .f3d and a .step file so that you can customize the parameters so it will fit your office chair as well.
You may need fusion 360 to edit the files.
I was going to buy rubber to stick to the bottom of the feet but a cheaper option was to cut up an old rug and use it as a floor saver.
The feet are held in by friction so if I pick up the chair they won't fall out.
The chair weight + myself is about: 20kg+70kg=90kg split between 5 feet.
