This is my proposal for the #Tinkermechanical contest. I have always been fascinated by this wonderful and beautiful animal, known as a killer whale. Inspired by the fabulous mechanism designs of Greg Zumwalt. I wanted to imitate as much as possible the movement of this beautiful animal. I hope you like it, it is design is composed of 15 pieces.
The total pieces to be printed are 15. There are 13 .stl files. The "JOINTS.stl" file is printed 3 times. There is a file "ORCA-MECHANICAL.stl" to illustrate the location of the pieces.
The archivo "STAND.stl" is the part that takes the most time to print with a total of 15 hours 30 minutes.
The printing time of the 15 parts has a total time of 23 hours and 40 minutes.
All the pieces can be printed in layer 0.2 with the exception of "STAND.stl" and "BODY.stl" that were printed with layer 0.3.
The total material in this case PETG was 502 grams.
The body of the whale has grooves that identify the white spots that characterize this beautiful animal.
