The daughter of the mountain sits amidst the sphere of nothingness alongside Shiva on Himalaya, all because of her immense devotion. A sphere within which there is no sense of time and space but solace. Anyone is inclined to receive the same sort of realization just by looking at her portrayal through a sculpture, a moment of consolation for a split second. Parvati is most humane deity one can come across. However, she is only a form of the energy that transforms. When the need comes she can even transform into the personification of terror itself. And when the time comes she can be most divine. Her name changes just like the energy embodied in her, maybe that is why she is referred as 'shakti'.
