Description
This small pillar forms the basis of a two-faced herm, which repeats a bearded head on both sides: this formulation, which refers to the primitive type in which the heads of Hermes bearded were distinguished by the use of color, she enjoyed less luck, especially in the Roman area, of the type that contrasted a bearded face with a bearded effigy.
