Description
Portrait of Caracalla, Type 1 (196 / 197-204), Rome (?), Marble. Musée de Cinquantenaire (Brussels, Belgium). Made with ReMake and ReCap Pro from Autodesk.
Portrait created by the emperor Septimius Severus for his eldest son (188-217), at the moment when he asserts son of Marcus Aurelius and therefore last legitimate representative of the dynasty of the Antonines. The hairstyle of the child clearly imitates that of the little Antonine princes.
