When circumstances are so dire as they are now, the captain of the ship may authorize the use of Cinderlynx - sabertooth feline beasts, native to the Proserpine, who were trained to fulfil combat tasks in close quarters of the void ships. Their most vulnerable parts are protected by specially developed armour (even their ears are covered with active noise control earphones!). And some of them wears not only armour but also battle augmentations, which make them incredibly deadly in the jungles of the spaceship corridors.
