My improved spool holder designed for my Prusa i3 Mk2s. Compatable with all spool types I've come across, unlike the stock holder. Also holds a custom namplate which can be copied and edited to give your printer a personal touch! I've included a blank nameplate file to be edited.
Bolts together using the spare M3x10 screws and M3 square nuts from the Prusa spare hardware package. This means no extra harware needed! I use a marker as my axle because it is smooth and easy to remove, a dowel or a 3D printed rod would also work.
**Disclaimer:**
For extremely tall prints, remove the front plate of the holder to avoid it interfereing with the extruder near max z height. The holder will still stay in place, but the name plate will have to be temporarily removed.
Printed at .2mm layer height with PLA at default prusa PLA settings.
No supports neccessary if printed in the correct orientation.
